One of the great things about living in South Texas is South Padre Island (SPI). A beautiful stretch of land that has the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the bay on the other. SPI is a tourist attraction for locals, Winter Texans, Mexican Nationals, and Spring Breakers. As you exit the bridge to enter the island, stands the most photographed spot in the entire Rio Grande Valley. The city's logo is etched on a welcoming sign that draws all types of photographers.
