Great news to all dog owners, McAllen is in its final phase of completing its first dog park. The 5-acre park was slated to open in the Summer of 2009, but a few delays have pushed the opening for late November or early December. This is a major push in McAllen's effort in improving quality of life for citizens in McAllen and its surrounding area.
Please read the rules attached at the end of this article. They are very strict, but are established to ensure that all people are able to enjoy the park to its fullest.
Park hours are from 6 A.M. to 11 P.M.
